The Essentials of Buddhist Philosophy, p27-28The Path of Practice is described as the Seven Branches of Enlightenment (Bodhi) as follows:
- Thorough investigation of the Principle
- Brave effort
- Joyous thought
- Peaceful thought
- Mindfulness
- Concentration
- Equanimity
Thus the ariya proceeds to the last stage: i.e., the Path of No-More-Learning. Then the firm conviction that he has realized the Four-fold Truth will present itself.
